The AllAboutCalgary.com Classifieds Section (referred to hereafter as "AAC Classifieds") have been set up in such a way as to allow sellers a very easy way to publish their products or services on the Internet and buyers a very simple way to find these products and services. Please read these guidelines carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the AAC Classifieds in any way.

YOU ASSUME TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK FOR YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND THE INTERNET. AAC CLASSIFIEDS PROVIDES THE SITE AND RELATED INFORMATION "AS IS" AND DOES NOT MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. AAC CLASSIFIEDS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED. CLASSIFIEDS TERMS & CONDITIONS:

AAC Classifieds is a local classifieds website and therefore we only accept classified ads from Calgary and surrounding areas. FREE listings from non-local advertisers will be removed without any notice, especially from advertisers located outside of Canada. Don’t waste your time.

For non-local advertisers we suggest that you contact us for special approval before posting any ads. You need to provide a real name, contact information including a phone number and explain why you would like to advertise in Calgary.

No Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) and "Get Rich Quick" schemes are allowed.

One customer may publish as many different ads as he want. However do not publish duplicates and do not publish similar ads with little changes. Avoid publishing multiple ads to the same category. Similar ads will be removed without notice and customers spamming our system will be banned from using the AAC Classifieds.

Please add your Ad to the appropriate category only. Ads published within a not appropriate category will be removed without notice.

Use of repeated keywords or keyword spamming, weird spacing, weird characters, etc., will get your listing removed.

If you are going to use the Free Ad package please do not expect to get a link to your website. Only the Link Package allow publishing the link. Do not put any links in your Ad Title or Ad Description. If you do so, your ad will be removed immediately without notice.

Your ADMIN session will ‘time out’ if you are idle in ADMIN for more than 8 minutes. Therefore, prepare your entries before going to ADMIN.

No fake e-mails or autoresponders. Your e-mail must be valid. You will need to confirm your email during registration. If your email becomes inactive, unfortunately, your account will be deleted. Please update your account information periodically.

You will sometimes receive periodic and infrequent mailings. When an important matter will pop up you may receive a series of emails. If you do not want emails, please do not submit your ad. Complaining about it after will get your account and all ads under it removed without notice.

AAC Classifieds reserves the rights to delete or modify any ads at any time without notice.

AAC Classifieds reserves the rights to keep your listing online after your goods or service has been sold. Your contact information will be removed and the listing image will be overlaid with the word "Sold".

All listings posted on AAC Classifieds are spidered (browsed) by Search Engines and/or web crawlers and may appear in Search Engine Result Pages and/or other places on the Internet. You understand and agree that AAC Classifieds is not responsible for and has no control over removing your information from Search Engines and the Internet. We strongly suggest for you to not publish your email address in the listing descriptions.

For paid postings - Since your products and/or services could be sold within the first minute after your listing appears online, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Our fees for Featured Listings and/or any other Paid Services are NON-REFUNDABLE.

All listings in the AAC Classifieds are monitor by editors and volunteers. Ads that violate our Terms and Conditions will be removed immediately without notice. Customers spamming our system will be banned from using the AAC Classifieds.

MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS:

AAC Classifieds reserves the rights to add, delete or modify any part of its Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Such modifications will become effective immediately upon the posting. It is solely your responsibility to review this agreement on a regular basis to keep yourself aware of any changes.

PRIVACY:

AAC Classifieds recognizes that your privacy is very important to you and that you have a right to control your personal information. We know that providing personal information is an act of trust and we take that trust seriously. AAC Classifieds make good faith efforts to secure store your information. However, we cannot guarantee complete security.

The server on which the AAC Classifieds is located collects and saves only the standard web log entries information. This information may include the date and time of your visit, the pages and images requested, your IP address and timestamp.

All other personal information collected, saved and displayed on AAC Classifieds only if choose to provide such information.

Your Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.

Your email address is not publically displayed and is not vulnerable to being harvested for use in bulk (spam) email distributions. Do not publish your email address in the listing descriptions. We cannot protect and hide your email if you published it.

AAC Classifieds, or people who post on AAC Classifieds, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. Those third party websites, may also collect information about you when you view or click on their graphical ads or text links. We are not responsible for and have no control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites. You should contact those advertisers directly if you have any questions concerning your privacy and their advertising.
